Who we are
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Tate Nande is a seasoned professional in the banking, information technology, and logistics sectors, including 5 years in executive roles, Tate Nande brings extensive expertise and leadership to the table.Tate is the co-founder and Executive Director/CEO of Tradeport Namibia Pty Ltd. Under his leadership since January 2019, Tradeport Namibia has grown to be one on the biggest logistics company in Namibia.
Tate Nande holds a triple accredited MBA from Manchester Metropolitan University, certificate in Private Equity and Venture Capital from Harvard Business School.
He also has a Bachelor’s degree in Financial Management from the University of South Africa, a certificate in Advanced Taxation from the University of the Witwatersrand.
His previous roles include Manager of Finance & Administration at Phoenix Namibia Assurance, Finance Controller at Vector Logistics Solutions, Management Accountant Officer at Bank Windhoek, Procurement Officer. Tate is proficient in financial reporting, income tax and VAT acts, risk analysis, financial modelling, project management, and various software systems including SAP R3, Microsoft Dynamics, and Pastel/SAGE.
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Francois has extensive logistics and operations expertise and has cut his teeth at leading logistics companies, such as Capespan Group and Capespan Group Logistics.
He is well-versed in financial and business development, with experience in financial modelling, risk management, and project efficiency evaluation.
Francois is adept at identifying new opportunities, conducting feasibility analyses, and structuring deals. At the same time, his experience at Tradekor Holdings and Sefateng Chrome Mine gives him a solid foundation in the mining industry.
Regarding leadership, positions as CEO, Assistant CEO, and Executive Director reinforce Francois’s ability to manage large, diverse teams and intricate operations and make strategic decisions backed by solid actions.
Francois has a sound technical foundation with a B.Eng in Mechanical Engineering from Stellenbosch University.

Monty is a dynamic and assertive professional with a strong background in business management. With over 25 years of experience, he co-founded Tradeport Namibia Investment (PTY) LTD, a leading logistics company in the manganese sector.
CHIEF OPERATION OFFICER
With over 25 years of experience in the retail industry, Jan Greeff is an accomplished executive with extensive expertise in regional sales and operations management. His skills span operations, management, finance, logistics, sales, marketing, and team management. Jan excels at staying current with market trends and emerging customer initiatives, enabling him to drive business growth and implement successful sales and operation plans.
Jan has a proven track record in customer service management, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and effective grievance resolution. He is also adept at team management, consistently fostering teams that deliver positive results. Recognized for optimizing resources, meeting quality and safety standards, and driving profitability, Jan has played pivotal roles in business development and achieving record-breaking turnovers.
His diverse skill set includes business development, distribution management, sales, and inventory control, along with proficiency in business analysis, forecasting, and implementing operational systems. Jan’s focus on customer-centric strategies and financial planning underscores his result-driven mindset and dedication to business success.

Jacques is a medical doctor who travelled the world working in the medical field before returning to South Africa and integrating his love for medicine, business, bulk logistics, and tech.
He is passionate about innovation and driving industries to be more efficient. He firmly believes that honing complex challenges into simplicity is critical to success.
Jacques has been involved in multiple fitness and health tech startups, contributing to conceptualisation, product design, go-to-market strategy, and roll-out.
His experience and background enable him to bridge gaps in the vastly growing medical technology space, while his strong network and relationship structures within the industry allow him to achieve synergistic partnerships and collaboration.

Risk is an inherent part of any project. However, we not only acknowledge this fact but also take a proactive stance in managing it. Our unwavering commitment to proactive risk management ensures that we produce the best possible returns for the least negative impact.

Health
Our top priority is the health and wellness of our team members. We have developed a detailed strategy to effectively manage any health risks and prioritize the well-being of our workforce.
Additionally, we’ve sought the expertise of toxicology specialist Dr Willie van Niekerk to minimize potential risks associated with handling manganese. Our Environmental Management Plan (EMP), approved by the Namibian Ministry of Environment and Tourism, meticulously addresses the health concerns of our employees.
